Patchwork of lines No. 2 - Limited Edition 1 of 2 Artwork

i have done a few similar works this year inspired by artists such as Giles Bettison, who creates the most beautiful works using glass, and David Hockney, for his love of colour and his use of digital technology to create the some of the most impressive artworks I have seen in a long time. Like David Hockney I am creating works using the iPhone and iPad. My preferred app at this time is Procreate, which is the creation of a couple of Tasmanians. You can hopefully also see a hint of Mark Rothko. I love creating these works but find thee is much pleasure in viewing the completed painting. There is patterns created mathematically and others randomly and there are even attempts to inject humour. I've printed recent works using quality German art paper, my printer for this being Stephen Vallis at Bayeux Ltd in Newman Street, Fitzrovia, London. This time I am printing onto quality canvas which I think offers the potential for later traditional (acrylic or oil) additions to any digitally painted works.
