I use here layers of resin in mixed media to build up a rock like texture. Mixing in pure gold leaf, copper, pure silver , platinum dust, mineral pigments and powders like mica, sprays, chalk paints, sand all mixed in to create a almost 3 d effect vision of earth or a planet from above. Like crevasses on a a distant planet surface or a close up of a rare rock full of precious minerals. In the various lights you see a different view and details every time. This beautiful matt black textured frame also emphasises the subtle details and colouring of the blended elements to spectacular effect.
