About The Artwork
I picked Ukraine as my subject. The conflict that I have realized is between NATO and Russia. NATO = Blue Horse and RUSSIA = Red Horse, which is fighting in the land of Ukraine to prove their supremacy, and as a consequence, the harsh reality that has been fallen on layman of a country. Here, Ukraine has contributed their land to realize world peace by limiting the conflict in specified areas to realize peace which is proving expensive worldwide. I took inspiration from Guernica Painting by Pablo Picasso and from the painting of Jacques-Louis David for the horses, and Human portrait visual from Battleship Potemkin.
