Born 1958 in Querfurt, Germany.Lives and works in Werder a.d. Havel Germany Co. Brandenburg.F. W. W. ARATORA is a trained instructor for painting and graghic arts. He has taught arts at a school for one year, has been a lecturer at the Diesterweg Hochschule Berlin for two years and is now working as a freelance artist in fine art, graphic arts and conceptual arts since 1989. In his works he is concentrating on people's relationships from all points of view. In his paintings he has created his own style to express himself. His brushstroke does not always follow the laws the perspective requires. In his pieces of art the viewer can visualize different levels which are composed in a way that keeps you in suspense and in which he lets his portrayed characters speak for themselves. This style can be described as a "New Matter - Of - Factness" (Neue Sachlichkeit) with sociocritical aspects including a certain form of realism the East German arts were supposed to express. ARATORA's art catches the viewers eye immediately because it differs pleasantly from the current popular art movement which is a reason for the steady value of his art. A firm number of customers are at his disposal within Germany and abroad.One of his latest projects is the monthly published "Kuenstler - Monatsbiographie(c)" as a limited edition consisting of signed copies of graphic works, sketches and other ordinary things which have a certain influence on his life. ARATORA is member in the artistgroup "Fragmentalisten"F.W.W.ARATORA ist ausgebildeter Zirkelleiter fuer Malerei und Grafik, hat ein Jahr Kunst an einer Schule unterrichtet, zwei Jahre war er Honorardozent an der Diesterweg Hochschule Berlin und ist seit 1989 freischaffend als bildender und konzeptioneller Kuenstler taetig.Menschen und deren Verhaeltnis zu- und untereinander bestimmen den Inhalt seiner Arbeiten. In der Darstellung hat er seinen eigenen Malstil gefunden. Seine Linien folgen nur bedingt den Gesetzen der Perspektive, oft entstehen mehrere Bildebenen, die spannungsreich inszeniert sind, in denen er seine "Akteure auftreten laesst". Sein Malstil laesst sich als eine Form von Neuer Sachlichkeit mit sozialkritischem Inhalt definieren, dabei laesst sich ein Realismus, der der ostdeutschen Kunst zugesprochen wird, nicht leugnen.ARATORA's kuenstlerische Arbeiten heben sich einpraegsam von gegenwaertig populaeren Kunststroemungen ab und bestimmen gerade deshalb seine Wertbestaendigkeit.
