This innovative body of Modern Art represents chunks of water, which have seemingly been scooped out of the oceans or lakes, and splashed onto the walls and floors, in a controlled but fluid form. This invites the viewer to experience the water's surface movement more closely. Mirroring my works of art, through thoughtful reflection, this body of work is a metaphor for resilience and self reflection, shifting one's own perspective to be connect to and observe the viewers emotional and visceral responses to water; to be acutely aware of newly inspired thoughts, self awareness of how the viewers body as it responds to being in, around, under or on the water, which may positively change their emotional and physical wellbeing. When one views the form of water or intriguing works of art which pertain to water, the viewer may transform one's senses and mental states, feeling one's heart rate and breathing slow down, to becoming more purposeful. The bold colors of the works may also mesmerize the viewer, in exciting the senses, while moving their bodies around the interactive sculpture mixed media works of art. The viewer's emotions may run as deep as the ocean itself. My hope is that the viewer can connect, be enlightened by and immerse oneself into this body of work and from there, be more consciously aware of how their body, mind and souls respond to water, in any form.
