About The Artwork
I have been inspired by dandelions in the backlight to this picture in mixed media on canvas. The natural brown canvas I have pasted with textile and paper and then painted with different, high-quality colors. The image has a lively textured surface duch it, in different lighting, very lively effect. The dandelions form a beautiful contrast to the vertical plant stems with their white tone and the spherical shape. Ich habe mich von Pusteblumen im Gegenlicht zu diesem Bild in Mischtechnik auf Leinwand inspirieren lassen. Die naturbraune Leinwand habe ich mit Textil und Papier beklebt und anschließend mit verschiedenen, hochwertigen Farben bemalt. Das Bild hat eine lebhaft strukturierte Oberfläche duch die es, bei unterschiedlicher Beleuchtung, sehr lebendig wirkt. Die Pusteblumen bilden mit ihrem Weißton und der Kugelform einen schönen Kontrast zu den vertikalen Pflanzenstängeln.

Born and raised in a small town in Eastern Germany I moved to Berlin to study fashion design. Since then I lived and worked in this wonderful city. My collages shall tell a story through their playful lightness. Berlin as a city is a major inspiration for my artworks in recent years. Especialy the ever changing architecture and gentrification. Through various exhibitions and envents i became part of the expanding berlin art scene. Besides my work as an artist I convey my knowledge and expertise to children and teenagers in social projects for more than 20 years. Moreover my artistic passion lies within analog photography and photography with pinhole cameras.
