BIO: Born: Chicago March 31, 1960 Worked: United States/Wiesbaden | Berlin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Artist Statement: My intent is to capture moments through photography. To share something or someone’s life, craft, or perspective. I am a photographer and a native of Chicago Illinois. Introduced to photography by my father and creativity by my mother. Photographs can be a reflection of life or invite you into a imagined world. My intent is to use my talent and skill to conceptualize and make Creative works. The imagery in front of me is only the beginning.  Like a potter who uses their hands, I use a camera to create a photograph, but it’s the post work that clarifies my vision.         Technical skill alone doesn't make you an artist; it's the ability to express yourself - your creative vision. When an artist uses their talent and skill to conceptualize and make a creative work, it becomes art. My creative fire has been burning within me since I was young. This is why I create.
