Stream of Consciousness Artwork

My work 'Stream of Consciousness' was inspired by Buddhist Philosophy which emphasizes the interconnectedness of all things and the idea that everything is in a constant state of flux. This cosmic energy could represent the interconnectedness and flow of the universe, reflecting the Buddhist concept of impermanence and interdependence. By portraying this concept, I want my audience to feel a sense of connection to the universe and a recognition of their place within it. I love the energy of working with charcoal as my starting point, to mark my territory if you will, then I have a great passion for colour (I painted the exterior of my home bright orange and every room has a clashing 2 colour them...I also love to wear colour!) and I loved the vibrant turquoise that I chose for this peace which is dynamic in places and subtle in others. Much of my work is mixed media, I’m always on the lookout for exotic decorative papers that I can use in my work & interesting images to use as photographic transfers. Created on canvas board. It is varnished to protect it from dust and UV-light, comes unframed, signed on the back.
