Please be aware that due to Saatchi Art’s policy regarding protection against unauthorized copies, the artwork displayed has had its resolution lowered. A collection of artworks created using traditional methods combined with a modern inkjet printer. A series of small black and white Biro sketches were scanned and printed before being mixed with watercolour paints. This specific type of paint would react with the wet printer ink and subsequently cause a kind of bleeding effect which created a trippy, psychedelic motif. The works were then scanned again, the colours further contrasted digitally and the works blown up to a new epic scale, allowing them to be viewed with a macro- lens style. These artworks are a true synthesis between traditional and digital techniques.
