In The Mermaid (Sereia) of St. Hanshaugen, LFM celebrates the mysterious ways in which life introduces unexpected characters into our paths, who are able to force us (sometimes through love and/or conflicts) to face our past traumas. The outcome of this painful confrontation can lead to self-awareness and a positive shift in our modus operandi. Unfortunately, sometimes we don’t get the chance to reunite and show these characters all the changes they helped to spark. In this composition, LFM wonders: "Where is that wise and brave mermaid, who used to visit me in St. Hanshaugen and kindly lent me her magic mirror? Its reflection allowed me to see what I refused and needed to see... I was so blind… I just wish I had seen this magic mirror before I met her… So I could truly see her instead of seeing what I wanted to see… Hopefully, one day, she’ll come back to her favourite rock in St. Hanshaugen so I can tell her what I see now. Maybe one day... Thank you, beautiful Sereia. I wish you well."
