About The Artwork
This work derived from a photograph of an alcove with a view of the Chattahoochee River located in Jones Bridge Park in Roswell, Georgia, USA. I loved the view and wanted to transform it to an oil painting. So I used art software to apply paint masks over the original photo to make it look like an oil painting. The colors I chose and applied transformed this lush green alcove with a beautiful gradient blue river peeping through into a smoky, fiery, scorched forest with the hope of water, the color of the sky, nearby to save it.
