About The Artwork
In Indian mythology, Shiva holds the Trident to chase off negativity and evil spirits. In Greek mythology, Poseidon, God of the seas, also wields power with the trident. A trident is also the flag of the god Neptune. For my digital collages, I sort and collide anciant images with my photos of water and nature. Contemporary mandalas made possible by the intersection of art, technology, spirit and science, dissolving into mysterious, sacred images.
