About The Artwork

TRUTH - Wisdom of the Black and White Raven In a world of increasing polarization and violence, this artwork invites you to take a step back and consider the situation from a different perspective. The wise black and white raven stand side by side, representing two sides of the story. Positioned near an ancient temple, a symbol of wisdom, their wings adorned with centuries-old Indian poems about spring, symbolizing rebirth. This captivating scene encourages us to gather more information, look back into history, and draw upon ancient wisdom to move forward in peace. The breathtaking black raven was immortalized in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming (USA), serving as a perfect model for this enchanting photograph. The ancient ruin that serves as the backdrop was discovered in the picturesque Sicily. Encased in a standard black wooden frame with UV-protective glass (optional: passepartout), this artwork exudes a sense of timeless wisdom, connecting us to the essence of the past and the hope of renewal. Framed in standard black wooden frame, with uv-resistant glass

Forces of nature speak to my soul. Ever since I learned that nature is extremely sensory intelligent and that she will outlive human beings, I am in awe by her power. Her courage, her will to survive and her unstoppable improvisation to thrive and survive, has become the theme I work with. In nature I seek signs of hope, of empowerment and the sheer willpower to live, often against all odds. This natural power touches my soul deeply. Nature doesn’t lie, she’s always authentic and we can learn a lot from her. For 20 years I have been a photo editor for newspapers and magazines. I left photography and worked as an independent couples counselor for nearly a decade. During that time I became intrigued about how important being in nature is to a stressed soul. I wrote a book about how to use nature to gain self confidence and become authentic. I started to miss photography and decided to close my practice and take up my camera to seek out nature’s lessons and capture them the way I see them. I am convinced that when we open up to nature's solutions for life's complications, we will rediscover our authenticity and what life is truly about.
