About The Artwork

Our beloved country is under attack. Wherever you are, if you want to support and stand with Ukraine, here you can find verified information and the necessary tools for it. Russia represents a clear and present danger to all democracies and peace-loving countries in the world. Only by standing together to defend Ukraine can we safeguard our future. Russian aggression has deprived hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians of stable sources of water (200,000 people in the Donetsk region alone). This includes residents of Mariupol, Mykolayiv, Kharkiv, Okhtyrka, Izyum, Makarov, Pologi, Vasylivka, Orikhiv, Huliaipil, Chernihiv, Trostyanets and many other settlements. – Commissioner for Human Rights of the Parliament of Ukraine Russian occupiers are starting to resort to kidnapping children. The State Border Guard Service reports cases of Russian soldiers using kids in the Kharkiv region to blackmail their parents. We want to live in our country and develop it. This is our historical homeland. Our grandparents live here, we like to receive kind guests from all over the world here. We are friendly people. I personally have friends and acquaintances from all over the world. Recently, I flew to a wedding with friends in Curacao. And my friends want to visit Ukraine, just like I was visiting them. But they were worried about the war, and I didn’t believe it. I didn’t want to believe that someone could attack and destroy your city, your country. But I also believe that we will restore our country even more beautiful, without inheriting from the USSR. I thank everyone for any support for Ukraine now, and when we restore, come as a tourist! Get to know our cordiality, our nature, architecture and culture! Thank you all! Love and peace are 1000 times stronger! I am with Love and Peace to Ukraine and to the whole world!

I am Elena Bandurka Ukrainian Ultra Contemporary Artist. I make sculptures and installations from garbage. I converted things into something new and interesting, not only pure cannon and paint from the store, it has no space for me. And I still like to invest in every job. Art communicates with its viewers. Through art, it is possible to talk to people. My grandfather was in politics for a very long time, so I put my love for my country through my art. It is most of my inspiration through the prism of integration of the rethinking of ancient traditions from ancestors. I want to show the world that is interesting. In every country, there is something unique and interesting, something that is interesting to know. So I am interested in history and traditions, and folklore, and then there is a mix of everything in my head, and then, OP, I see a picture, I do not understand what I saw, and sometimes, the idea is going first, and I think Above her. Then I follow the picture, I see pictures, and then I think, and as I fill myself with the sculpture with lightness, it will be possible to swing it in me so that it is not heavy. And I do, hands do. Visualization works. And the idea, the content fills the product. Thank you for your time and attention. I hope to find a common interest with you. And have a nice day! Two of my sculptures from the new project December 2020. Since May 2021 are in the collection of the Museum of Ukraine in the Museum of the History of the City of Kiev One of my black&white photos, get Berliner Liste Special Edition during Berlin Art Week 2017, when I took part in an exhibition in Berlin. I like to work in eco-art and other types of a socially important genre of contemporary art. I am inspired by what is happening around us. Ideas like the lightning sparkle in me. Sometimes it’s not easy to immediately realize an idea, I like to combine unusual things and surprise. I want to draw attention to open questions, such as preserving the environment, by using unusual materials in my work, as well as how beautiful a woman’s portrait is in black and white shadow. I have many ideas, but my main goal is to tell people in an accessible and interesting language how important is the preservation of the purity of our ecology and beauty will save the world and love makes us wiser.
