I grew up in İzmir Turkey. All my childhood, I was fascinated by the magnificent textile products,embroideries and paintings that my grandmother and aunt produced from fabrics and yarns. I learned how to use them at a very young age. In my works,I try to combine the traditional techniques with contemporary ones. I like adding fabrics that belong to my childhood, mixing them with hand embroidery, natural dye, photography, paint and more. I mostly get inspired from my childhood, dreams and personal experiences
