About The Artwork
The artwork is a fantasy inspired by Élena's talking to her friends. We were discussing photos, sports and the beauty of movement, which let me start drawing some artworks showing the beauty of a human face, body and motion. The artwork is inspired by the contrast of the nature and the human that we often see in our everyday life. It shows a young man swimming in the calm sea on a summer day. The motion and the warm colour of the living body contrasts to the white splashes and the blue-green waves, which brings the feeling of the reviving and cool water, hot and bright sun and all the careless and joyful time that we usually spend at the seaside.
