Vector art is the definition of abstract expressionism for me due to deceptively simple nature of it in application. Vector drawing is more accurate due to the computer nature, but its success in application is dependent upon the way the creator sees and defines shape and color on a psychological level. Many rationalize abstract as the absence of something fundamental which is characterized in the use of the term simple to explain abstract, This ignores that abstract and simplify are really terms to also describe deconstruction of something from its more complex state not so much destruction but to examine the pieces in slow separate terms/parts. When combined with expressionism it becomes even more apparent the opportunities abstraction can help humanity by helping humans retire their complex thoughts/feelings in a more rational way. I find making art like this very helpful in dissecting my thoughts before bed and or calming me in stressful situations so I hope this deconstruct of my apathy from my depression inspires this movement as a therapy tool for others afflicted with complex issues as well.
