"Bruderkuss" is Part of my Digital Natives Series and my Digital Natives Series is all about cooporation with the program Adobe Illustrator. I´m using a graphictablet to draw, so it starts as something personal, but the program turns it into a vector and so I have to react to it, that means the program and I work together to create the piece. The result is what you see, a digital artwork, that was created by a human and a non human being brought into our reality, by printing it on Acrylic glass, because, to me, the material is quite screenlike, and it was created on a screen right? so want to make it a screen again, than people get my experience when I work .. anyway. so the digital piece gets a physical form in the real world. I do this all the time in my Art. That´s my thing. Reality becomes digital and the digital becomes reality. I want people to see what they want to see. my work is not about showing them somehting, my work is about showing them nothing, so people have to look inside themselfs to find somehting that they wish to see, or something they desire, than the image gets created by everyone individualy. I see somehting else as You would see and this is good. For me it´s all about aesthetics and if it works for me it works for everyone. Digital life has been always a huge part of my life. For example. I love videogames. As a Child I was playing them all the time, because they made me feel free the most and since art is, or should be, all about freedom, it makes sense that my work is so digital or that I work exactly that way.
