I am looking for universal values that don’t change with human technology and technique. These values transcend through generations, like the human traits, actions, changes in emotions present in Dostoevsky and Natsume Soseki’s novels. The organic lines formed by the gaps between pieces acknowledges the existence of invisible boundaries. The artworks look like drawings even though there are no drawn lines; the resin valley emphasizes the fact that boundaries exist without them. It is the invisible lines that give the boundaries equal recognition as depth, space, and matter all come to equal focus. These lines, which can be specifically observed in Asian Art, is visualized. They are seen as gaps between space and matter here; each part reminding us of the complexity and miscibility of various things. Moreover, the material, color gradation, and texture expand differently in the artwork to emphasize the lines and diverse composition.
