This drawing is part of a series that explores relations between free hand drawing and geometric forms, mainly squares, rectangles and ellipses.
In free hand I’ve made insects or butterflies reduced to contours of sets of wings inducing motion and flight to the picture.
Opposed to the rigidness of the geometry that in stead lends depth to the image.
The balancing of these two main elements depend to a high degree on an intuitive process through which I, piece by piece , introduce the forms that should participate in this game of weights, acceleration, life, colour and composition.
As a parenthesis i should mention that the copper colour is a reference to the copper leaders supporting electronic circuits thus making this kind of expression possible.
