Artwork “Different Vision” – part of project “3D Body Architecture2” The　artwork “Different Vision” is a part of the project and exhibition “3D Body Architecture ² ” which took place at the Tokyo Institute of Technology — Exhibition Center — “AIST Tokyo Waterfront” in Japan this April 2012. The project is a continuation of research initiated on the symbiosis of digital art, architecture and the human body perspectives in our contemporary world and for the first time it was introduced in Japan as a unique way of connecting new technologies and art. The project titled “3D Body Architecture ²” is a continuing research on the subject of circuit architecture, high technology and art. In this “open” work, a number of disciplines are intertwined, from architecture to design and contemporary art. The project is a mixed fusion of high technology and manufacture, classical art and culture of design. Through this work is clearly introduced an innovative and complex process of creation which grows and changes over time, evolving into new situations and new contexts. The significance of the exhibition “Three-dimensional architecture of the body ²” resides in the combined use of high technological 3D body scanning equipment for the purpose of art (nowadays such systems are mainly employed in the medical sector) and various software for the creation of architectural spaces. The final results are obtained by integrating the 3D scanned data with the modeled 3D space into a coherent whole, which can then be represented as a two-dimensional image. The complete installation comprehends 15 peaces of art in 2D form, measuring 100 x 70 cm, and a video projection in real time. The two dimensional works are made on aluminum background and covered with an acrylic layer. Part of the installation is a digital video animation that displays a virtual 3D space transcending the physical limitations of the traditional concepts of space and time. Artistic production in virtual 3D worlds delete the boundaries of modern, conceptual work in the unity of artistic disciplines. 2D and 3D works of art displayed together will introduce public with a third dimension and explain all progressive creative process as digital unit that moves through space. Subject of this research is a layered depth of space, surface meaning, specific relationship between individual and environment, physical limitations of the traditional concepts of space. Project introduced public with an innovative and complex process of creation of an artistic work which grows, changes over time, evolving into new situations and new contexts. The entire artwork is accompanied by specific digital music sound, which makes installation even more effective. The significance of the project is unique way of connecting different digital methods - scanning system and architectural software — for the purpose of art which reflects the present and opens a small window into the future. The project was awarded by the Los Alamos University, New Mexico in October of last year in the international competition “Art and Science”. The project will be also presented at the worldwide most important international conference on “3D Body”.2012 in October in Lugano, Switzerland.
