Every Mother is an Artist - Limited Edition 4 of 6 Artwork

My work relies on Polaroid photographs, photo-grams, layering, rescanning the images and painting to create a work of art. The colors in her work are used as a language and abstraction as a form to express her language. ‘’Every mother is an Artist’’ expresses a message about her new born daughter, a message about motherhood. The artist has used her daughter’s objects in order to portrait her motherhood feelings. To her, raising a child is an art in itself and she coveys this through the use of different tones of colors. Creativity lies down within a mother and so does with an artist. Colors play a very important role in all my artworks and these colors are chosen from the real images that are used at the initial stage of the process. Along with colors, digital media plays another important role in my prints. There is a use of high-saturated colors in all the prints. I have made a series of prints that are the result of re-scanning and over-lapping two or more polaroid images into a new image. The final image may appear as a seamless photographic print.
