About The Artwork
This was originally intended to be a detailed portrait of Nico, the 1960s icon whose real name is Christa Päffgen. I prefer drawing older people, as younger faces have fewer lines and wrinkles. I decided I would, rather than drawing Nico in detail, see how much I could distort her face before she became unrecognisable. If you know Nico, you can still see her face in here somewhere. Or at least I think so.
