About The Artwork

I called this Pages as it looks like a book with four sides, it gives the impression of looking at an open book. There are many stories in this painting, the home that is left behind, the effect of war on families, the familiar palm trees and home, the woman remembering her story and finally the immigrants in a boat traveling into the unknown. Although the subject of this painting is sad, I try to present this in a visually pleasing way. I have used acrylic paints on multi faceted wood, it can hang on the wall easily as it is quite light.
