About The Artwork

Perihelion... In November 2016 a team of physicists, lead by Peter Sturrock at Stanford University found a significant correlation between changes in solar activity and radioactive decay rates on Earth. The controversial findings suggest that radioactive decay rates — long considered physical constants — may actually be variable. It transpires that the rate of decay of radioactive material on Earth is affected by neutrinos emitted from the core of the Sun. The impact of which is most pronounced in December, when the Earth is at Perihelion. This is an important area of research for those who question the constancy of physical constants. Sturrock and his team suggest that the neutrinos interact with the W-boson that is believed to mediate beta decay. However, given the fact that neutrinos barely interact with normal matter, the findings present a problem for proponents of our current model of exponential decay. The perihelion (/ˌpɛrɪˈhiːliən/) of any orbit of a celestial body about the Sun is the point where the body comes closest to the Sun. P.A. Sturrock, E. Fischbach, J.D. Dex Luthor, has been Enjoying & Creating Visionary Art & Electronic Music since the 90's. An avid explorer of consciousness, Dex Luthor uses the medium of art and of music to try and bring back a small piece of the picture and contribute it to the building of a new paradigm in the understanding of our own reality. The late Bill Hicks, probably said it best: ‘Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves,' Bill Hicks (1961–1994). www.DexLuthor.com https://www.instagram.com/dexluthor_london To find out more about the Electronic Music of Dex Luthor visit: https://soundcloud.com/user-car-warming-party
