About The Artwork

A team of cyclists speed across a world map in a global bicycle race. A tribute to Otl Aicher, the head of the design team that created the graphics for the 1972 Summer Olympic Games in Munich Germany. The simplicity of the pictograms defined the term ‘Universal Language’ and have become the basis for public signs all over the world.
