About The Artwork
My art is about the soul. The spiral has been used for a symbol and process of the eternal existence of the soul. Deeper and deeper into one’s soul, each lifetime we descend into one life form of that lifetime’s body. Yet, higher and higher we climb in our own awareness of soul as we feel our own emotions more completely. I ask the viewer, the participant to question how their current life is intertwined now with elements of their past. Feel when you view this, and then notice what thoughts inside your mind follow. Crayola crayon is one of the freshest retaining color mediums I have found. I love the vibrancy that the originals contain and I know you will too! This piece can be hung by mounting a saw toothed hangar on the back of it with a very strong type of epoxy. Traditional frames work well too. A very deep frame is an excellent choice to display and house this medium and backing of ceramic tile.

Hi, My art is about the soul. My art is aimed to stir the emotions that ripple outward from the soul. I strive to move the viewer to ponder what is inside of them that only they can experience, only they can feel to know. And from this self as soul knowing, conscious awareness of oneself is forged and amended, time and again. I have also written a book entitled "Consciousness: a Spiritual Perspective, How emotion and feeling form thought. This book, like my art, focuses on the soul. Psychology today needs to attach the non-physical aspects inherent inside of each one of us, in the soul, to the rise in each lifetime in conscious awareness of self. Emotions, feelings, and thoughts are linked together and not able to be fully described or understood without incorporating the non-physical aspects of soul with and within the physical body.
