About The Artwork

Mountains for me have always been the sign of Majesty and authority. In my opinion, the path from the foot of the mountain to the top could be considered as a metaphor for a life path that each person begins to walk to achieve their goal. Due to the fact that every human being has different goals in life than him, so he has to climb many different mountains in his life. Among these mountains I lived nearby most of which are sacred mountains, so I thought they were definitely the other sacred mountains I don't know, so I tried to find out more and that lead me to writing my Bachelor Thesis at Soore University of Art in Tehran and then master thesis about mountains in Brera Academy of Art in Milan. From 2013 till 2022 for almost 9 years I just painted mountains. This series called "Portal / The scene of choice". Since the most remote antiquity, the concept of Port has always been loaded with deep and articulated symbolic and spiritual values, often common to cultures very distant from each other, in time and space. The door represents the place of passage between two states, between two worlds, between the known and the unknown, light and darkness, wealth and misery. The door opens to a mystery. Just as a door that is an entrance represents a beginning, a door that is an exit represents an end. But while a door can symbolize an end, it often doubly symbolizes both an end and a new beginning, as well as a door of rebirth. And while a door can be found at the end of a long passageway, there's an element of hope that there's something on the other side.
