Igor Buszkowski is an artist, photographer, musician and a creating arts teacher from Poland. Buszkowski balances on the edge between high art and blunt kitsch, between realism and abstraction. The composition of the picture is enriched with worn objects. In this way he makes a kind of upcycling. The artist pierces images with threads, as if he was discovering a world invisible to the naked eye in front of the viewer's eyes. In his works he often presents exotic female faces, turned away figures or unreal lands. The artist refers to ecology, excessive consumption, longing for closeness to nature, of which we are a part of. His innovative technique, vivid, sharp colours, individualism and personal narrative caused Buszkowski to become an uncommon and recognisable artist.
