38! second edition 2016 Painting

Paola Mascherin was born in 1976. She lives and works in Pordenone (north-east of Italy). In 1999 after being graduated by the Cà Foscari University in Venice, she decided to begin a personal travelling experience in Far-East where she attended a calligraphy course and afterwards a Chinese language course by the famous Yunnan University in Kunming (south of PRC). In 2010 she began to exhibit. Her masterpieces are soon appreciated by the public. In 2012 she won the Public First Prize at Artilia’s Prize in Lignano (Udine). She consequently continue to expose mainly in the north-east of Italy but soon also in an European context. The trip as discovery, escape and affirmation sets the bases to an awareness that gives her paintings a personal style. Dynamism and quite: opposite feelings that are often present in her works and, as in everyday life, characterises it.
