live in chengdu, sichuan, chinaborn in 1976.7chinese childhoodChildhood memory in 1970'sPleased, cozy, colorful...... they are main elements in my childhood memory......I was born in a residence which was owned by a state-run cooperation. I studied in the state-run primary school which was closed. I was eager to get out of this surrounding by passing the examination to the public middle school and university to feel the outside world. Normally, the parents of my classmates are the supervisor or subordinates or same rank of my parents. My classmates and I often played / fought together as well as often visited each other. We sang the same revolutionary nursery rhyme in the kindergarten; went to school together; did the homework together; feeding the silkworm togetherOn the other side of the high wall of our school was the plant, we went to school while parents going to work.Boys always like playing with all kinds of insects at that time. As the farmland was outside the plant wall so we had abundant resource of insects. Of course, the play was always ended with the death of the insects but we never ever felt sorry about that as we were educated that all the insects were pests at that time. The insects were not loser always, sometime we were hurt by bee etc. Such wonderful experience was still going on but the life rhythm was getting fast. One day the wonderful experience could not catch up the life rhythm, it disappeared In year 2004, I happened to go to Shanghai for long term business trip. I always preferred to visit BUNK to enjoy the music of Big Clock, it recalled me lots of childhood memory--the life segment which belonged to our generation. This is why I record the life segments during my childhood with these series drawings < Pesticidal Plan> as it will not come again in my life. Jiangpeng Chengdu, Jan,07.
