About The Artwork
80th Street #4 (acrylic on canvas 14"x11") is another in the series of paintings I am working on, which are based on urban architectural and landscape forms rendered in abstract geometric shapes. This painting is expressionistic, which creates a feeling instead of replicating reality. There is no need for a frame as the painting travels around all the edges and the canvas is stapled in the back of the stretcher bars.
