• A Black Abstract • Painting

• By following the key elements of good aesthetics, it took me one day to do “Black Abstract” on the day before the 2020 U.S. Election Day. • That was after a friend called me to talk about the good old days, politics, relationships, diet supplements, and the Covid epidemic. • Six years into my painting hobby, “Black Abstract” is the 4th artwork that I’ve backed with black, following “Christmas in Las Vegas”, “Power of Smear”, and “Golddigger”. • In “Black Abstract”, I painted a man sitting by combining the head of a man from Afghanistan, a black poodle from American Kennel, a grey ginger, and a blowfish from Santo Domingo, Puerto Rico. • In evaluating the artwork, I hope that my aesthetics was good enough in terms of color, texture, scale, pattern, balance, shape, and visual weight.
