This painting is framed and is wired for hanging. The dimensions listed are the dimensions of the image within the frame. The frame itself is not accounted for. The frame is a little chipped on the top right, bottom right, and bottom left corners of the frame. (See pictures). The dimensions of the actual frame are 35.5 x 45.5 x 2 inches. The idea of soulmates and in particular, soulmate marriages, have always inspired me and influenced my thinking ever since I began studying Kabbalah, which is an ancient wisdom that explains that every soul has a potential soul mate waiting to appear in his/her life. When we transform and change our nature from being reactive to being proactive and kind, we can then speed up the process of meeting our true other half, which should eventually lead to a fruitful and blissful marriage. I hope that this painting will inspire the viewer to truly ask the universe to send the individual his/her soulmate, and also to do whatever spiritual work is necessary to accomplish this important and vital mission. If one already is in such a relationship, then this painting serves as a reminder to always appreciate our spouses or lovers in ways that we have not yet imagined possible. Oil on canvas has always been my chosen medium, since I was inspired by my master art teacher Monique Baudaux to follow this artistic path since the 1990s. My style is impressionist. Many have stated that my paintings remind them of a combination of Monet and Renoir. This is no coincidence, since I highly admire their work and style.
