About The Artwork
The Soul Cities collection is inspired by personal souvenirs and feelings of a particular place.This work is inspired by the small village Arrazola in Oaxaca (Mexico) at night. The friendly inhabitants of Arrazola are also well known for carving small scuptures in the wood called Alebrijes, using natural colours. This work also has been crafted with reclaimed wood and with natural colours, showing the concern of the artist for our environment.
