About The Artwork
In this painting, dad holds my nephew when he is about to cross the chair, as the fence was not extended till the edges of the pond. Dad has kept his right leg in that narrow passage so that the small one cannot pass through it as he is a kid and not always expected to show obedience.. We love the word freedom. We love freedom in every thing. We think 'control' is something that needs to be eliminated from life. We see control as a fence or as a cage. But is it really so? If it is so, does that mean we have a lot more to learn.. Just like my nephew who plays around and curious in whatever he sees.. This memory is from San Diago Zoo Safari Park, a glimpse of the joyous time I had with my family.
