About The Artwork

Volatile is by default a bird, but is also someone or something that does not seem to have a position firm, stable and reliable. Unpredictable and therefore fluctuating. This volatile couple has for me this double sense. Actually the wild duck was a gift of a delightful young lover of one night, of which I can’t remember the name. At the morning she took me to the door of her apartment in her nightgown and she told me that I made her feel beautiful. The airplane has been built for Anna and me, in the first days of our love, by a dear friend: a young talented artist, but drug addict, trying in that way to overcome his tendency to bipolarity. Until the day when someone found him dead in his loft in Rome, many hears ago. Despite their fragile origin, or perhaps because of it, I love this couple very much. I love fragile and loser people and I don’t trust the strong and dominator big guys.
