"A Vela senza Rotta" "Sailing without Route" Painting

This painting is an oil on hand made pure linen canvas. This work is a still lifes but strictly connected with the contemporary world and the contemporary life. This is a part of a new group of paintings called "Natures in Balance" ; you can consider all these installations, or temporary combinations of common objects of the contemporary life, bottles, glasses, pieces of materials. Everything seems to be in always precarious, too if it's not, fragile like the humane life. There is often a line that connects the things. Some titles of the paintings like "The Acrobats" for the paintings with hanging bottles, or "The Tightrope Walker's vision" for the one with a metal vase in the middle, are dedicated to the circus. I will post other photos soon. All the things seem in fusion with the skys behind, sky that is always the main subject of my paintings together with the light. But if we know how fragile we are, we can have a new energy to front the every day life, to live every day like the last one, "Carpe Diem" or "live the day, live the moment" like Latins were saying. In this way the objects are like people, the installations become portraits of persons in my own vision.
