Vipul Prajapati's visual imagery I has works has roots in the rustic contemporary world. His works are dominated by the themes of work sites, dockyards and industrial laborers. His work give us a glimpse in to what happens behind the urban metropolis of today. They evoke and anxiety of some urban waste that we see around us. The deep and genuine concern of the young artist Vipul for Industrial waste and gloom is very timely and time -specific at the time of real estate boom and an industrial growth and transport infrastructures like fly-over, foot over bridge, tunnels, metros etc. Right in the middle of our city's hustle and bustle. But more than his anxieties about industrial waste catastrophe, Vipul has focused more on the recurrent theme of the figure of the industrial worker at his site with his environs, Machines and tools. The ship yard worker is captured in the company of other workers , closed portraits , figure paintings in worker's typical cloths' in their professional activities or actions like Welding or Drilling , workers coming out a factory after work or worker's breaking ships at the site. On the one hand Vipul's total painting work records time-period of massive construction on the specific site and on the other hand he shows the workers in a universal gesture of solidarity and brotherhood. Vipul has artistically and creatively made the use of digital prints of the photographs of the workers at ship yards in different activities amidst their environs. He finishes his works in oil paints. He some time uses mixed media in order to enhance the atmosphere of the work as well as the textural qualities of the work. His works are technically, artistically and aesthetically very satisfying .His works also provide a documentary value of the life and activities of the workers working at the ship yards.
