There are few sights more beautiful and magical than the sun's rays shining through the leaves. There is something infinitely soothing about the sunlight dancing between the leaves swaying in the wind, playing hide and seek with us. But there is more to trees than their sheer beauty: trees are indispensable. They produce oxygen while absorbing carbon dioxide, and are home to countless creatures. They slow the wind and cool the air, telling stories of the past and protecting the future. And yet we humans seem unable to stop destroying them. While there is so much going on in the world right now to keep us busy, the problem of climate change is still with us - it is here, and perhaps more urgent than ever. Like climate change, deforestation has not stopped just because the world has been forced to slow down.

Art is free, for me it is based on infinite freedom, which we experience mostly as a silent and solitary activity, but the way we feel and observe the world around us does not exclude anyone from us, because in our creations it is expressed as a message. I strive to process my personal experiences in compositions, in relationships to materials, so that the viewer can relate to the images. The central question is to draw from myself and my surroundings, because only then can the image be honest and authentic, and to formulate and present truths that can be applied to everyone. I feel that I am on a journey that is accompanied by the hope and sometimes the hopelessness of change. I am accompanied by the constant questions, doubts and ruminations that arise during the process of creation, and these are the thoughts that I intend to visualise. As a member of Art Associations, I exhibit my work in group shows, and opportunities to show my work through competitions give me the space to present myself.
