About The Artwork

The Princess Theatre, which at one time housed one of the city's best repertory film houses, now stands abandoned on Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal. Periodically, a citizen's movement takes hold of the idea of reviving the Princess to its former status. But the prohibitive costs of renovating the theatre keep the building in its current state.
