About The Artwork
In this piece, I've employed "Dualism", delving into the separation of form and color to conjure two distinct scenes within an image. The visage of a seated beagle dog emerges on the right, defined by sleek black long lines delineating its hind legs and torso. To its left is its ethereal counterpart taking shape as a vibrant, transparent figure cast in resplendent orange. The interplay of translucid red at the top and blues and greens emerging from the sides serve to manifest the "active painting process" reminiscent of liquid color cascading onto the canvas. Colors are given free reign to express themselves in their most vibrant untamed ways. "Dualism" is a technique I use that separates color and form, each telling a different story. This results in two unique visual experiences within one painting. In this use of "Dualism," I prefer to use a variety of colors instead of just sticking to monotones, allowing a rich spectrum of hues to interplay and create a vibrant composition.

As a kid I had a keen drawing skill. My father quickly took notice and pushed me to paint. Back in the days, we used to spend evenings painting together; my father, my mother, my sister, and me. I remember being very happy those days. Later on, I started experimenting with water colors, used as oils. I would use impressionistic style, with visible brush strokes and richness of colors. Later on, I captured interest in my work, and so my three first iconic works were sold: A commissioned art from a travel agency of a boy with a city seeing behind, a full body portrait of a businessman, and a wedding picture of a couple just wedded.
