About The Artwork

This painting was created from a series of drawings I made from the Salvador Dali paintings at Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, to experiment with shape, colour, and surreal spaces and perspectives. The surface is very smooth, the board has been primed with a chalk ground, the traditional method of hand made gesso. Matte and gloss varnish finish (half/half), has back frame for hanging.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I am a London based painter born in Olsztyn, Poland. Currently my paintings combine the traditional visual of drapery and the fold with the modern highly reflective material of latex. They focus on the fall of light, and the colours and shapes that are created by the reflections. I consider my practice to be both hyper-realistic and abstract. The work tries to provoke a haptic way of looking, and seeks a connection to your feelings and senses. Seduction, desire and the fetish are some of the key ideas I consider during the making of the work. ***Full artist statement available on website***
