Abstract Twin Nr.3 Mysterious black and red Painting

The topic I am constantly interested in is the meaning of chance, how a relatively free approach to technique affects the aesthetics, value, purpose of a work. In painting, freedom of expression is important to me as well as the extent to which coincidence is significant, often dictating the choice of colors and techniques, even the speed of hand gestures to determine the final result in various ways. Although i mostly choose to use acrylic paint i like to experiment with other materials: the crushed brick of my childhood home, the construction grid, the egg yolk, the walnut leaves. Through interesting texture, the form is enriched as well as the content - with reflections of antiquity, sacredness and an awakening of my favourite icons of saints.
