Since having my daughter last summer working small has been my favorite way to get some quick studio time in. My favorite place to source art supplies is at estate sales, which is where I found this gorgeous handmade paper. The previous owner worked with watercolors and Japanese brush painting, but she had a huge collection of handmade paper from all over the world. Using this surface for small studies adds a layer of interest even before any marks are made.
