About The Artwork

I'm interested in the role of interference in the forming of human subjectivity and explore that by using different materials and observing interactions and transformations that occur with passing time. In this piece, a mix of acrylic paint, spray paint, graphite, soft pastels and different kinds of paper create textures that blend abstract forms to a face. The many layers of materials relate to the many layers of experiences we go through in life and to the idea that each and everyone of them add to the complexity of what we are. Materials: Acrylic paint, spray paint, graphite, soft pastels, tracing and repro paper, glue and water on canvas.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Interested in the role of interference in the forming of human subjectivity, I often deconstruct the human figure allowing different materials and techniques to interfere with and change my portraits. My practice is based off of the idea that our subjectivity develops from the never-ending exchange between inner and outer worlds and that, because of this, every instant lived adds a new layer to the whole that is an individual.
