About The Artwork
Seeing beauty in simple things is my motto, which came to me from ancient Greece. The main idea of ancient Greek art is the beauty of the human body. Nude is beyond time and events, it is eternal. I am inspired by the works of Renaissance artists, when I look at them I stop breathing, I have not seen anything more beautiful. Especially the work of Botticelli, his tenderness in the female image. A gentle, young girl admires the beautiful calla flower, which in painting symbolizes rebirth, being an Easter symbol of resurrection. It is this flower that tells us that beauty is eternal, even if it has lost its life, it will rise again and again strike us in the very heart. The work is done on canvas with a stretcher WITHOUT FRAME. Cotton canvas. Rembrant brand paints. The sides of the canvas are painted in a dark color, which makes it possible to hang the picture without a frame or to install a frame at will. A suspension device is installed on the stretcher.The painting is varnished.

My name is Elena Tsvetkova, I sign my works with the pseudonym E.Schmitt. Born and raised in Russia, 2012-2020 lived in Luxembourg, currently living in Germany. I am a self-taught artist. Once having picked up brushes and paints i cannot stop. This is my passion and life.I prefer not to limit myself to anything and therefore I write in different styles. Realism, impressionism and I really love interior painting and mixmedia as well. My goal is to please your eyes, to make your leisure more comfortable and pleasant.. The artist's artistic approach is formed from the environment in which he immerses himself, from the one whom he imitates and into whose images he gets used. In creating my paintings, this is exactly what I use, getting used to the image, object, idea, through which a certain plot is formed. My goal: from a craftsman artist to become a creator artist, to create a visual composition that expresses an intimate, deep relationship to the world. Creativity is not conceivable without knowledge, search for meaning and spiritual development.
