About The Artwork
Looking at the painting, it reminds me of an easy sultry summer day with its warmth of colours at the top end and a cool, sweet breeze coming from below. It gives a sense of tranquillity and a harmonised balance despite its intense colourful spectrum. A happy imagery, an affable muse. As for the painting itself, it is worked on a thick or box stretched canvas (3.5 cm) which is painted decoratively right around the sides with a yellow pinstripe. The intention is for it to be frameless and hung as it is. Whether placed horizontally or upright, the piece will still look right, according to your preference or space. Apart from acrylic paint, I employed pure pigment colours giving it a vibrancy and slightly earthen feel to it. I hope you will like it and thank you for your interest.

Jason is a painter and illustrator of various styles and different media for different ends. Principally a surrealistic and abstract artist, he has a fondness for satire and caricature, with a hint of humour fantasy and the whimsical. Nevertheless, there is a realistic and a sober aspect to some of his work too. His different genres of works are ongoing series which are added to from time to time, whether it is his Aviary, Abstract, Allegoric or any other style he employs. World events, social affairs and politics draw his attention, but he can be inspired by everything and anything seen, heard or felt. His expression can be direct or ambiguous. What is prevalent throughout his work is light, movement and flow, hardly any black is employed, leaning towards enlightenment.
