About The Artwork
Perennial champ, Mr. Kobayashi withdrew from competition with a groin, but a win is a win. This piece was really fun to paint, as I was laughing at my subject the entire time. I love using humor in my work, because I think art should make the viewer smile, and hopefully laugh out loud. I title my work with complete sentences, including subtitles as well, in order to boost the humor quotient. This piece's edge is painted bright green. Hanging hardware is installed.
