About The Artwork
Once somebody told me a legend that there is a sea inside every man. And depending on the internal state inside each of us, there may be sun shining or a tsunami raging. This work is a metaphor shows that the strength of the human spirit is unlimited and man can overcome any problems and difficulties, even when it seems that nothing will work. The artist was inspired by the poems of the Russian poet Tamara Ognevitskaja "The sun will rise". These verses are presented below in the original (russian language): Поверьте, Солнце взойдет, Раскрывая бутоны, людей, города. Заискрится жизнь, как мёд, Позабудется всё, пропадёт ерунда... Останется суть, правды лучи, Любовь и покой, радость дней мимолетных. С тобой...Давай помолчим, К чему суета? Дней череда беспилотных... В небесах тает Луна... Солнце взойдёт. Оно так поступает.
